Digital BioBlitzDigital BioBlitz is a collaboration between the Youth Learning Center, the Academy of Science – St. Louis, and OpenDataSTL where students between grades 5 through 12 get a peek into the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields while working together to build something new and useful for all of St. Louis.

Code for America Brigade Launch
OpenDataSTL, the City of St Louis, and St Louis County will officially launch the St Louis region Code for America Brigade. Rather than a new group, this represents a transition for OpenDataSTL into an expanded role in the St. Louis tech community and local government, with the official endorsement of Code for America. OpenDataSTL will continue its aim to bring together technology innovators and government to promote use of and access to public data. This Brigade supports new innovation in government technology and will be a core of volunteerism to sustain these new technologies and the openness these technologies foster. Through openness of and access to local government, the OpenDataSTL CfA Brigade will encourage and empower residents to take an active role in their community.
See the Code for America Brigade website for more information.
